There is an interesting video on line with a panel of experts discussing
brain function.  Included is a discussion with Dr. Catherine Lord, an
expert in the field of autism from the University of Michigan.  She
discusses how social experiences affect the brains development and
function.  The video is 55 minutes long and this topic is mentioned
beginning around 41 minutes.
