Founded by, Kelly Grimes an early interventionist and mother of a son with autism, Sensory City offers a safe nurturing environment that benefits children of all abilities.  While Sensory City's program caters to children with special needs, it also provides typical peer modeling by welcoming siblings.

The need for Sensory City is so great because there is nothing like it in the area. Unlike other programs which offer more structured classes, Sensory City allows children to freely explore their environment. Children of all levels can participate and enjoy the center. In addition, the activities offered compliment school and therapy programs that the children may already be enrolled in. Children with disabilities spend so much time in school and therapy.  Sensory City helps to achieve a balance and fill a crucial time in every child's day, play time!
